²¹ ·Ladan [or Libni] was Gershon’s son and the ancestor of several ·family groups [clans]. ·Jehiel [or Jehieli; 23:8] was a ·leader [chief] of one of the ·family groups [clans]. ²² His sons were Zetham and Joel his brother, and they were ·responsible for [in charge of] the treasuries of the ·Temple [^Lhouse] of the Lord.

²³ Other leaders were chosen from the ·family groups [clans] of Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
